Top Holiday Cigars 2019

#1. Macanudo Café

Macanudo Café is a mellow cigar with a light body and aromatic smoke. A tan Connecticut Shade wrapper leaf holds a smooth blend of long-fillers from the Dominican Republic and a San Andres binder. Creamy notes compliment the touch of sweetness of the Connecticut Shade wrapper. The undemanding Macanudo Café is a perfect cigar for everyone at your holiday gathering.

#2. Oliva Connecticut Reserve

The marvelously approachable Oliva Connecticut Reserve is ideal for a midday, pre-dinner cigar. A gleaming Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper is paired with a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. Mild to medium-bodied, the Oliva Connecticut Reserve has notes of cedar, hazelnut, and hay combined in a variety of popular shapes and sizes.

#3. Arturo Fuente Hemingway

The Arturo Fuente Hemingway series is a meticulously handcrafted cigar in an award-winning portfolio. A perfectly fermented African Cameroon wrapper hugs a blend of premium Dominican binder and filler tobaccos. The easygoing medium-bodied profile delivers notes of woody spices, chocolate, brown sugar, molasses, and walnuts. A mix of shorter and longer vitolas makes it easy to decide to have a cigar before dinner if you’re unsure when the bird is coming out of the oven.

#4. My Father Flor de las Antillas

Introduced by Jose “Pepin”  Garcia in 2012, Flor de las Antillas is the first boxed-pressed line from My Father. The “Flower of the Antilles” is an homage to Garcia’s native Cuba. This medium bodied beauty is a blend of pure Nicaraguan tobaccos with a Nicaraguan Sun Grown wrapper. Notes of signature My Father spices, white pepper, nutmeg and cocoa lie lusciously on the palate. The versatile cigar pairs well with rum, wine, an after dinner cognac or a seasonal cocktail.  The Flor de las Antillas Toro was awarded #1 Cigar of the Year by Cigar Aficionado in 2012 with a 96 rating.

#5. New World Puro Especial by AJ Fernandez

The premium New World Puro Especial by AJ Fernandez features top-quality aged Nicaraguan tobaccos.  New World Puro Especial Gordo provides the rich, medium to full-bodied Cuban-style taste that AJ Fernandez cigars are famous for.
