I have chosen cigars that will give you a fright this Halloween! Hell, I’ll even throw in my Halloween-themed movie list for your viewing “pleasure”.

 Ah, fall, with its changing leaves, cooler temperatures, crisp air, and seasonal festivals. And, let’s not forget about Halloween here. If you’re a kid, there’s that glorious tradition of going house to house in search of all-you-can-eat, free candy. If you’re a cigar lover, you can add one more enjoyable dimension to your Halloween holiday with some themed cigars to get you into the Halloween spirit.

For those seeking a mellow smoking experience, but want full-flavor, Asylum Insidious Toro is for you. The cigar is subtly sweet with notes of earth, raisin, maple and nuts with a touch of pepper. Asylum 13 Ogre Toro is a Nicaraguan Puro rolled barber-pole style in dual Nicaraguan Habano and mossy green Candela wrappers. These eye-popping cigars have creamy-smooth and savory flavors of coffee, earth, cream, pepper, and chocolate. There is also a grassy sweetness attributed to the Candela wrapper leaf which is very evident in the retrohale. The Asylum 13 Ogre is one cigar you won’t soon forget!

The illusione Maduro mj 12 is a cigar named after the code name Majestic 12 (aka MJ-12), a purported secret organization that appears in UFO conspiracy theories. The organization is claimed to be made up of an alleged secret committee of scientists, military leaders, and government officials, formed in 1947 by an executive order by U.S. President Harry S. Truman. The illusione Maduro mj 12 Plan mj 1949 is a blend of Nicaraguan Criollo '98 and Corojo '99 and finished with a dark Capa Fina San Andres Maduro leaf wrapper. This cigar comes wrapped in foil - some say to represent the weather balloon like material that was found at the Roswell crash site or perhaps a tinfoil hat. With a flavor profile and aroma to match most of the illusione cigars, mj 12 Plan mj 1949 Maduro carries notes of Nicaraguan tobacco, leather, Earl Gray tea and floral spice. This stogie is outta this world!

Joya de Nicaragua is a medium-bodied blend of rich Nicaraguan binder and filler leaf. All perfectly crafted with a dark Mexican San Andres Negro wrapper. Dark chocolate, dried fruit, and cedar meld effortlessly with notes of coffee and leather. It’s a dark and inviting cigar that will leave you intrigued and looking for more!
