If 2019 is anything like 2018, there will be many surprise cigar releases from Rocky Patel, Arturo Fuente, and AJ Fernandez, along with many other premium cigar manufacturers. It’s an exciting time in the world of fine cigars.

Last year, the 2018 International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers Association (IPCPR) brought exhibits from just about everyone in the biz, including Drew Estate, Ashton, Rocky Patel, Perdomo, My Father, AJ Fernandez, and Alec Bradley. In 2018, more so than any other year, it seemed like companies were introducing line extensions, oftentimes in the form of a single, new limited-edition size.

2018 brought the new releases of Alec Bradley Fine and Rare JRS 10= (86) 2018, Esteban Carreras Mr. Brownstone Habano, Asylum 13 Medulla Oblongata Maduro, E.P. Carrillo INCH Ring Master No. 5, Macanudo Inspirado Red Gigante and Hoyo La Amistad Black Toro by AJ Fernandez. The IPCPR is the place to be for retailers seeking the latest and greatest in premium smokes.

The Great Smoke - West Palm Beach, FL

For the everyday cigar enthusiast, celebrating its 13th year, The Great Smoke in West Palm Beach, FL, has expanded its one-day platform to a full-fledged, three-day extravaganza of cigars, offering spirits, dinner, music, and more. Festivities start February 14th with a kick-off party hosted by Drew Estate and Smoke Inn. On Friday, February 15th Rocky Patel is hosting a free pre-event party at the Smoke Inn in Boynton Beach. The main event, held at South Florida Fairgrounds on Saturday, includes a free afterparty. A Sunday morning brunch hosted by Montecristo at Smoke Inn closes the weekend. The ticketed event includes an all-you-can-eat buffet and bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys. Look for tickets online quickly before they are gone.

Smoke Out - Las Vegas, NV

This is the 20th anniversary of the Smoke Out in Las Vegas held at the Alexis Park Resort and Villas, also for the general public. The five-day, not-for-profit event will be from April 4 -8 and is for “cigar and pipe studs, leatherman, bikers, bears, and friends” from all over the world. The itinerary includes pool and cocktail parties, dinners, a cigar crawl, a Scotch and cigar social, a motorcycle run, a poker party, and more! Hosted by the Alexis Park Resort and Villas. Registration is required by March 31st.

IPCPR - Las Vegas, NV

Now in its 87th year, the 2019 IPCPR will hold its annual convention and trade show at the Sands Expo at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, NV with an opening party on June 28 and show dates June 29 to July 2. Retailers can discover the hottest new cigars and products offered by more than 300 exhibitors. As in past years, education sessions, seminars and keynote speakers will be presented at the largest premium tobacco trade show in the nation.
