The Cigar Heritage Festival will be held on December 2, 2018, at Centennial Park in Ybor City, FL. Ybor City, near Tampa, has a rich history and was once known as the “Cigar City”. It is the only neighborhood on Florida’s west coast to be designated a National Historic Landmark District. The town was founded by Vicente Martinez-Ybor in the 1880s. Over a century ago, Ybor City became the home to thousands of immigrants from Spain, Italy, and Cuba who helped initially build the City. Ybor City's cigar factories rolled hundreds of millions of cigars annually making it the cigar producing capital of the world. The town’s history and location are the perfect setting to hold the annual Cigar Heritage Festival.

The festival is a three-day event starting on Friday, November 30th. General admission on Sunday, December 2nd is free with VIP tickets available for all three days. Unlike the IPCPR, which is geared toward retail and industry people only, the Cigar Heritage Festival is open to the public.

There will be live entertainment, beer, and wine. Enjoy local favorites such as a Cuban sandwich from over 30 gourmet food trucks. For those seeking the true Florida experience, there will be cigar rolling demonstrations, domino tables, and over 200 vendors providing premium hand-made cigars, cigar accessories, cigar art, cultural art & jewelry and more!

There will be guest appearances by Carlito, Cynthia and Liana Fuente of Arturo Fuente Cigar Company and brother's Bobby & Eric Newman of the J.C. Newman Cigar Company. With the leading cigar industry families in attendance, Arturo Fuente Cigar Company and J.C. Newman Cigar Company help bring in cigar aficionados, local families, history buffs, and out of town visitors from all around the world!

On Friday, November 30th, the Cigar Heritage Festival will host a cigar bar crawl. You will travel down the famous streets of the Historic District of Ybor City to six of the best cigar bars offering premium, handmade sticks for all to try. The owners, and or managers and torcedors, of each stop on the tour will talk a bit about each cigar being proffered and the history of the cigar industry.

The V.I.P experience includes 4 premium cigars, food, spirits, beer and wine bar, casino, raffles and a silent auction.

On December 1st the Cigar Heritage Festival will host its 12th annual “Cigars & Stars “event featuring cigar makers and cigar factories that have had a large impact in developing Tampa’s cigar culture.

The Cigar Heritage Event is a family/ dog-friendly event, but please remember there will be cigar smoking throughout the park. Awesome!
