New at El Cigar Shop, ACID Blondie Gold Sumatra by Drew Estate is a pig-tailed Petit Corona ( 4 x 38 ).  Drew Estate blends the Nicaraguan tobacco with aromatic botanicals, herbs and oils and, with the Blondie Gold, you will find a slightly stronger, golden Sumatra wrapper. Many infused cigars use a Sumatra wrapper because it’s mild enough not to compete with the flavor infusion, but is bold enough to add complexity.  ACID Blondie Gold has a sweet creaminess with subtle notes of maple and molasses. 

E.P. Carrillo Encore series is a Nicaraguan Puro blend with filler tobaccos from Nicaragua’s three primary growing regions- Estelí, Condega and Jalapa.  The multifaceted flavor profile shines with sweet candied citrus peel, tea, and creamy caramel. An incredible smoke from a man with a long career in the cigar industry. The Encore line is available in the Celestial Toro (6.125 x 50 ) and Cigar Aficionado’s  2018 #1 Cigar of the Year, the Majestic Robusto (5.375 x 52). They are both heavenly!

The Esteban Carreras Unforgiven Sesenta is a brand new offering from this excellent boutique cigar maker. It features Nicaraguan filler tobaccos that have been extensively aged in 18-year-old Flor de Cana rum barrels. The blend is finished in a seamless Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf wrapper and then aged further in the barrels. The toasty flavor bomb delivers medium to full bodied notes of wood, leather, coffee, and spices, and a slight smokiness from the rum barrels.

Gurkha Bourbon Collection is a unique Churchill with a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper and Dominican fillers infused with bourbon. You’ll be greeted with notes of warm, aged Hartfield & Co. Kentucky bourbon , cocoa and nuts. These artisanal cigars are something to enjoy with your favorite bourbon, neat or on the rocks. A new addition to  El Cigar Shop, illusione Fume d’Amour Viejos,  roughly translated to “ Love Smoke” in French, is a decadent, unique blend of Nicaraguan Criollo '98 and Corojo '99 seeds, focusing on lower priming seco and viso tobaccos and finished with a AAA Grade Cafe Corojo Wrapper. All of illusione cigars are made in small-batch quantities to maintain quality and consistency. The illusione Fume d’Amour Viejos is a wonderfully complex, mild to medium bodied experience from start to finish. You’re engaged with flavors of roasted cashews, nougat, cocoa, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and touches of Nicaraguan tobacco, spice and pepper.

My Father La Opulencia features a dark, Rosado Oscuro San Andrés wrapper and two Nicaraguan binders, one Criollo and one Corojo, with a combination of various Cuban-seed fillers that are grown on the Nicaraguan farms owned by the Garcia family. After they are rolled, these Toro-sized cigars are expertly box-pressed. The full-bodied La Opulencia  has smooth and creamy complex flavors of anise, oak and earth with nuances of cocoa and leather.
