Last summer I was in San Francisco for a little R & R. After I chowed down on a dozen Kumoto oysters and a 2 lb. Dungeness crab at the Wharf, I suddenly realized I had forgot my after dinner stogie. Instead of taking to Google or Yelp, I decided to walk around the Wharf till I found a bait shop. Not 5 minutes later did I encounter Tony’s Bait Shop. Tony was at the counter in a “Size Matters” t-shirt, grumbling with a local fisherman about today’s catch. I thought to myself these two will know where I could purchase a quality cigar. Tony sent me to his go to cigar shop a few blocks away. As I entered I immediately spotted the Oliva Cigar Company display. I chose the Oliva Serie G Aged Cameroon for my long stroll back to the hotel. I still remember the sights and smells of that and especially the sweet flavors of my cigar that day.
