The Nub line of cigars was created by former Oliva Cigar Company sales representative, Sam Leccia. In 2007 Sam approached the Oliva family with his new idea. Although the Oliva family were a little skeptical at first, but after sampling the Nub they decided to join Sam and his Nub line production. Sam and the Oliva Cigar Company, marketed under their Studio Tobac division, have a created the Nub 460. It is an affordable and high quality cigar. When released in 2008, the now infamous Nub 460 was an instant success and named Best Bargain Cigar in 2012.
Nub 460 is outfitted in a Cameroon wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and filler. This combination allows for a more mellow smoke and cool burn. This medium-bodied, slightly oily Nub 460 suggests flavors of spice and earth with notes rich with coffee and cedar.
The Nub 460 Cameroon is packed full of tobacco allowing it to burn slowly. The toasty cigar burns cool and easily, releasing the essence of leather and spice that quickly disappear on the palate. Delivering fast nutty and earthy flavors upon lighting, the Nub 460 provides that “sweet spot” cigar aficionados seek.
The short, fat Nub 460 Cameroon does not ask of anything except your enjoyment. Smoke one along your trek into the forest for your winter stock of firewood. Slowly savor every scent of pine and the earthy draw of your Nub 460 Cameroon.
