In Spanish La Opulencia means "the opulent," and that's exactly what the Garcia family of My Father Cigars was aiming for when it created La Opulencia. The blend features a dark, Mexican wrapper that the Garcias classify as rosado oscuro. It is different from any other style wrap they have ever employed before. It also sports two Nicaraguan binders, one Criollo and one Corojo, with various Cuban-seed fillers that were all grown on farms owned by the Garcia family. This full bodied premium stogie has a smooth and creamy delivery with leather and cocoa nuances. It was also awarded the #2 Cigar of 2018 by Cigar Aficionado Magazine, which should find it a permanent home in your humidor!
