El Centurion H-2K-CT Toro is an exceptional premium blend of fine tobaccos by Jose ‘Pepin’ Garcia. The rare beauty is enriched with a unique hybrid sun-grown Habano 2000 wrapper grown in the Connecticut River Valley. Although it is not as dark as Connecticut broadleaf and not as light as shade grown leaf, El Centurion is an intensely flavorful cigar with notes of honey, spice, and cedar. Creamy spice rounds out this medium to full-bodied cigar. At first, El Centurion was released as a limited-edition, but the Garcia family changed course and issued this spinoff brand with this unique blend.
The flavor profile of this new offering from My Father Cigars can best be described as complex and exciting. The finish has a pronounced creaminess which helps to integrate all of the different characteristics that are present in the smoke. This also helps to provide clarity in the blenders intent. The El Centurian was placed in the Top 25 Cigars of 2016 by Cigar Aficionado Magazine. Unlike many Connecticut Shade wrapped stogies, this smoke may be enjoyed any time of the year, not just in the warmer climes. But, it certainly does kick up ones' taste buds for a summer time smoke!
This past summer I turned my dream of flight into reality! A tandem skydive is a great way to experience the thrill of free-fall for the first time. There is absolutely nothing that I have experienced in my life that compares to the adrenaline rush skydiving gave me. I have tons of pictures and a great video that I will never get tired of viewing and sharing with my friends and family. I can now scratch that off my bucket list. I should have skydived sooner in my life. I've been missing out! After my tandem dive the great instructors of Tandem Flight and I celebrated with a few of my El Centurion H 2K CT Toros and began planning my next dive. If you always wanted to jump from a plane at 13,500 feet and free-fall for 60 seconds, I highly recommend the tandem skydiving experience.
