Arturo Fuente is the maker of the finest tobacco products in the world. But did you know they partnered with Swiss watchmaker Hublot to create watches dedicated to their cigars? In 2012 the two collaborated on the Hublot King Power Arturo Fuente and the Hublot Classic Fusion ForbiddenX in 2014. Well it seems there’s nothing the family owned company cannot improve upon.

Arturo Fuente Curly Head Natural is a high quality and affordable mild to medium bodied cigar. The warm Dominican filler, binder, and Natural African Cameroon wrapper that are used give this cigar the same rich flavors produced by other higher end Fuente cigars. The Curly Head Natural may be a modest, even shy cigar, compared to other Fuentes, yet the flavors are complex and the finish has a subtle sweetness to it.

The smooth, mild blend makes a great companion to your morning coffee . Or, if you’re the adventurous type, a Kentucky whiskey after dinner might be your thing. The September nights in Pennsylvania can drop as low as the 40s and I can’t resist a hot toddy to accompany my Arturo Fuente Curly Head Natural. Here is a fine traditional recipe for a hot toddy.

Ingredients:

1 part Jack Daniel's Old No. 7

1 spoonful of honey

1 cinnamon stick

1 good squeeze of fresh lemon juice

- boiling water

Instructions:

Pour Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 into a heavy mug. Add a spoonful of honey, cinnamon stick and lemon juice. Top with boiling water and stir.
