Made in Nicaragua by Don Pepin Garcia for distribution by Ashton.  Gently and lovingly hand-rolled at their location in Esteli, Nicaragua, these cigars combine a dark Maduro wrapper from San Andres with medium to full-bodied tobaccos from Nicaragua, these cigars are a real treat, and as with almost everything Don Pepin Garcia touches, they are cigars that are well worth a sample.

The Mi Amor Valentino is the sixty ring gauge version, the only one that is not a box-pressed cigar, is a fantastic smoke without having to worry about the soft square design you get out of so many box presses.  Basically, if you don’t like to smoke box-pressed cigars, but you still want to try a Mi Amor, the Valentino is the one for you.  When cut and lit, the cigar exudes notes of dark chocolate, spice (which is common with Don Pepin Garcia’s cigars), and a rich and untainted coffee.  It’s the kind of cigar that would go well with a dessert, or the kind of cigar that could be a dessert all of its own.
