Alec Bradley Tempus Terra Novo Nicaragua

  • The Alec Bradley Tempus Terra Nova Nicaragua is a true gem of a cigar. As Cigar Aficionado has noted: "There's a bit of an oily gleam to the wrapper of this dark, reddish-brown cigar. It's a toasty smoke accentuated by nutty notes and a sweet, caramel finish."

  • Alec Bradley grew quickly from a small boutique maker of cigars into a business that has cigars in most shops and that is known for the quality and consistency of their cigars. Indeed, they have scored a string of wins, including a number of cigars rated 90 plus, and even scoring a 96 rating on their Prensado, a beautifully-made cigar that utilizies a Corojo wrapper and is box-pressed. They’re no slouches, and they know how to mix a nice bit of tobacco with a good wrapper and come out with a great cigar.
  • It begins with a Nicaraguan Jalapa wrapper that encases a Nicaraguan double binder, and blends together tobacco from the three big tobacco-growing regions of Nicaragua; Jalapa, Condega, and Esteli. The Tempus, a 94 rated cigar by reviewers, is one that is flavorful and well put together, a cigar made purely from the leaf that Nicaragua has to offer.
  • The Tempus Nicaragua is a medium-bodied cigar, accessible to the neophyte and yet complex to the practiced. It has a rich, earthy profile, one that is common of the leaves grown in Nicaragua, and the cigar has notes of spice, cedar, a hint of leather, and a taste of pepper. A very pleasant smoke, and one that showcases what Nicaragua has to offer to the cigar smoker. If you find one, you owe it to yourself to taste it at least once.
