West Tampa Tobacco Co. White Toro

The West Tampa White Toro is one of the original releases from West Tampa Tobacco Co., founded by Rick Rodríguez (formerly of CAO) and Gus Martínez in 2022. They are made at Garmendia Cigar Company in Estelí, Nicaragua. The White line uses an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper (lighter / “light pink” / rosado hue) that is fermented for 6 months, combined with a Habano binder and a filler mix from places such as Ometepe, Jalapa, and Pueblo Nuevo.
The West Tampa White Toro is generally mild to medium strength at the start, moving to medium by the latter half. The cigar shows a blend of natural tobacco, cedar, earth, and berry flavors. Pepper notes (especially white pepper) may emerge in the background. This is the best blend to enjoy for those developing their palate or for those that crave a milder, creamier smoke with plenty of flavor and complexity. Another stellar cigar from Ricky!
