The latest from Rojas Cigars is one tasty treat! Noel Rojas has just rolled out the Street Tacos Barbacoa Short Corona as of March 2021, and they are already hard to find. Barbacoa is a name for a meat preparation that traces its roots to the Caribbean and Mexico, and also the word that eventually became barbecue. With the Street Tacos line, Rojas has incorporated an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper with Nicaraguan tobaccos, from the Somoto region of the country, used for the binder and filler. The medium to full bodied blend has plenty of notes of creaminess, pepper, wood and earth, and at one point, an almost meaty taco-like mouth feel. The cigar has an excellent appearance and a very nice burn line. The first of what is planned to be a series of three cigars, the Rojas Street Tacos Barbacoa Short Corona will have you coming back for seconds....possibly thirds!
