blend of 7 year aged Nicaraguan and Dominican long-leaf ligero. What makes the Vintage 1999 unique is
the oldest, silky Connecticut shade grown wrapper that was harvested in 1999. The aged wrapper
encloses the excellent blend of vintage tobaccos. The Connecticut leaf subdues the spicy tobacco blend.
The mild to medium bodied Vintage 1999 Robusto is slightly spicy with notes of pepper, earth, wood
and a creamy sweetness throughout. This masterfully constructed Robusto has an impeccable firmness on the draw and produces a bountiful amount of pleasant aromatic smoke. Unlike the Vintage ’90 and ’92, the Vintage 1999 Connecticut is not box pressed.
