The Edge A-10 was released as a limited edition and crafted in celebration of the 10th anniversary of
one of Mr. Patel’s most coveted lines. The original Edge was released in 2004 with much fan fervor and
accolades. Due to Rocky’s strict high quality of standards, the Edge A-10 was finally released in 2015.
Although a year late, Rocky fans were happy to celebrate! Due to popular demand Rocky Patel has
placed the Edge A-10 permanently on its lineup.
The Edge A-10 is made at Nestor Plasencia's El Paraíso factory in Honduras, as are most of Rocky Patel’s
cigars. The Edge A-10 Toro sports the same barber pole wrap as the original Edge. The contrasting light
and dark brown wrapper appears rustic in nature yet is silky smooth. The unique dual wrapper combines
a Costa Rican Maduro and a Honduran wrapper leaf. Underneath is a Honduran binder with aged long-
fillers from Panama and Nicaragua.
The Maduro wrapper supplies notes of leather and spice along with some sweetness while the Corojo
provides flavors of earth and black pepper.
For a special occasion or celebration, pair the Edge A-10 with a single malt Scotch from the Highlands.
Balvenie 21 year old Portwood is an exquisite Speyside single malt aged in bourbon casks and finished in
port pipes. On the palate there are complex rich flavors of honey and cream with Christmas spices that
lend a layer of interest. The Edge A-10 is luxurious, offering earth, leather, and pepper flavors. In
combination with the single malt’s spices, it provides a rich and complex flavor experience.
