Macanudo is a cigar brand that either you have encountered, or you are not a cigar smoker. And hey, if you’re new to cigars, that’s alright! Macanudo is here to help ease you into cigars and help you to find the flavors that you may enjoy.
You see, for most people, you can’t just jump into smoking a full-bodied cigar with a Maduro wrapper. That’s how you end up burned out and not enjoying the cigar at all, and that’s how you end up scared of trying new cigars, better cigars, other cigars. Macanudo is a cigar company that is not only a well-known entity with a long history, but a cigar company that you will find to be most agreeable. Couple that with the fact that I have yet to find the local humidor at a cigar shop or the online cigar store that doesn’t sell their product, and there’s a lot of reasons to like Macanudo cigars, and their Prince Phillip vitola from their café line is a good one.
These Macanudo cigars begin with a Connecticut Shade wrapper, which will lend a light creaminess to the cigar. Into this is placed the best fillers from the Dominican Republic, and then there is a binder added, a binder grown in San Andres. This cigar is a light one, one that you could probably smoke five or six of in a sitting and still be able to function when you stood up. It’s also a fairly complex one in its flavor, and if you’re looking to try a good cigar, this is probably the place that you’ll want to start.
