First appearing in 2016, the illusione Garagiste is the first Illusione blend to utilize an Ecuadoran Habano wrapper. "Garagiste" refers to a group of winemakers in the Bordeaux region of France producing “garage wines”. They are basically considered renegades, much like the Master Blender of illusione, Dion Giolito. The Garagiste Toro is an absolute gem of a premium cigar that utilizes a blend of Criollo ‘98 and Corojo ‘99 long filler tobaccos. It all comes together with the aforementioned Ecuadoran Habano wrapper. This combo delivers on the flavor with notes of wood, spice, vanilla and a maple/pecan like sweetness in the finish. Awesome!
