Named after Henry Clay, the former Speaker of the House during the War of 1812, the term 'War Hawk' is now used to describe one who favors war as an ultimate resolution of conflict. You may find the name to be aggressive, but this stick is as smooth as silk. Unlike Henry Clay cigars from the past, the War Hawk Toro features a Connecticut Broad-leaf binder, Honduran fillers, and a luscious Connecticut Shade wrapper. Perhaps, the War Hawk gets its' name for being a medium-bodied smoke, rather than being typically mild, as with most Connecticut Shade wrapped cigars.
