If you smoke cigars with any regularity, you know that the money that you spend on cigars can quickly add up. You start with a couple of 8 dollar cigars, you multiply that by a couple of times every month, and all of the sudden we’re easily talking about upwards of a hundred dollars in a month. That’s a heck of an investment to make.
Now, if you are smoking those cigars immediately, then it doesn’t really matter if you do anything to take care of them at home. They aren’t going to be sitting long enough for them to dry out at your home, and if you’re buying dried out cigars from your local cigar shop’s humidor, then you’re really only failing yourself.
However, if you keep cigars in your home in a humidor or a cigar box for months on end, you’re going to want to make sure that you do something to take care of them, to make sure that you’re protecting your investment and all the money that you have spent on your cigars. You need to make sure that you aren’t letting them dry out.
If you’re keeping your cigars in a smaller box, then a mini humidipak may be a great way to keep them moist while making sure that you are going to be able to prevent them from overhumidifying. You’ll be glad that you made this small investment, trust me.
