Sometimes you want to have a cigar to go with you when you travel. Trust me, I understand it. I used to travel to a lot of states with absurdly high taxes on tobacco. I live somewhere where a pack of cigarettes is 6 bucks or so, and to have to deal with the kind of taxes that makes that pack 15 bucks? I wouldn’t want any part of that. Because of that, when I travel, I sometimes like to grab a cigar for each day I’ll be gone and pop it in a travel humidor.
There are a couple of reasons for this. To begin with, there’s the money; you know how much cigars will cost near you, but you don’t always know how the market will be where you’re going, especially when you’re going to states that already have high tobacco costs. But more important, to me, is the idea that I will be sure that I am getting the cigars that I want. I like a lot of the smaller-run cigars, and personally, these are hard to find for me when I go elsewhere.
This humidor will allow you to bring your cigars with you wherever you go, and best of all, you’re going to be able to bring along the favorites. The only thing that you really have to do? Make sure the humidifier is nice and moist to ensure proper humidification, and you’re good to go.
