A box of Ashton Classic Churchill cigars comes with 25 cigars in an 8-9-8 configuration. On the top of the box is the same logo as on the band, the simple logo claiming ‘Ashton: Imported, Made By Hand’, telling you that these cigars are going to be a good smoke and that they are Ashton quality.

Ashton’s Classic line, as are many of its lines, are made in the Dominican Republic by Arturo Fuente, designed by one of the greatest names in cigars in the last one hundred years, Carlos Fuente Sr.  The tobacco is selected by the Fuente family and aged for three to five years, in order to mellow it a bit and draw out flavors that only a proper aging can grant. That tobacco is then wrapped in a fantastic Connecticut Shade wrapper. A wrapper with little to no oil, but that will impart a creamy look and texture to the cigar as it is smoked.

If you buy a box of these Churchill cigars, you’re getting a box of creamy cigars, with a medium-mellow body, that have notes of cream, nuttiness, and maybe just a hint of a peppery and woody flavor.  A great cigar that you will enjoy over and over again.
