This year, Rocky Patel turned 55! So he celebrated by blending an awesome cigar. The Rocky Patel Fifty-Five is a new, top-shelf addition to the boutique “Artisan” Series, and is made at the company’s factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. The Fifty Five series features a gorgeous, reddish-brown Nicaraguan wrapper leaf. Underneath, you’ll find an intriguing, and very flavorful, Costa Rican binder and Nicaraguan long-fillers. The cigar delivers a complex mixture of creamy cocoa and cinnamon, with slight oak and pepper on each draw. Rocky Patel has produced many award winning and celebrated cigars, but this quite possibly could be one of his best blends on the market today.
