Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged Maduro Epicure

20016
  • The makers of fine cigars at Perdomo have done it again. By revamping their Habano line with a decidedly new twist: Bourbon-barrel aging. The Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged Maduro Epicure is a wonderful smoke comprised of finely selected and inspected tobaccos. It is rumored that Nick Perdomo himself often overlooks the final stages of production where in the dark and oily maduro wrappers are applied. If you order cigars online, this should be one of them.
  • First, the body of the cigar is constructed from distinctively flavored long-fillers grown in Nicaragua. These are then rolled inside the previously mentioned maduro wrapper that was naturally aged and carefully inspected. The cigars are then set to rest in bourbon barrels for an additional 14 months. This time-consuming blending process yields a medium to full-bodied flavor profile with very distinctive notes of cocoa, almond, and dark roast coffee. These flavors are all enhanced by the delicate smoky essence that the bourbon barrel fermentation yields. What a great cigar!
